Styling Hats

And I wanted to quickly share this week’s fashion tips on hats.

I hear a lot of women say they think they can’t pull off hats but they’re really interested in adding this accessory into their looks.

My top two tips are experiment and build the look around your hat

Go out and try a variety of hat styles to see which one feels the most like you and blends with your personal style and personality.

A hat should feel like your crown and like it belongs on your head, that’s a great indicator that you’ve found the right one for you.

Knowing facial shape and the right hat size is also key.

When you’re starting to play more with adding this accessory into your looks, it can be helpful to use it as a statement rather than another element into your outfit.

It can feel a little more challenging when you’re trying to make the hat work with your outfit.

So choose the hat first and build your outfit around it, let it be the powerful, attention grabber.

This’ll make creating an outfit with a hat as an accessory much easier.
