Happy Monday! In this video, I wanted to share why it’s important to invest in your style. I’m so passionate about this topic because I feel like people underestimate how powerful your style can be when it comes to your success.

Before we dive in, I’ll give you a quick introduction, I’m Emmaline Chappell and I’m a certified personal stylist. I have my own business here in Richmond. I help busy women elevate their style by discovering a new way of dressing to look luxe for less.

So I go to a couple of networking events each week. During everyone’s elevator pitch, they explain how they’re the experts in their field and they’re ultimately looking to gain new clients.

One thing that I don’t think most business women realize is how much their style effects their business. If you’re not presenting the best you, you definitely run the risk of forming bad first impressions with potential clients, not being taken seriously or not being seen as the professional

In a nut shell, You’re negatively effecting your chance of success.

We live in a visual world where our image is everything. It’s the first thing a person encounters whether in person or online. Your image, your style is sending a message to your audience before you even speak.

You can be the biggest expert in your field and have all of the knowledge to help your clients but if your style isn’t looking it’s best, you’re working against yourself.

I hear the word invest a lot. Invest in your future, invest in advertising, invest in your education and training. I just don’t think women think about you need to be investing in your style.

When you invest in your style to look your best, you’re going to make more money. I promise you, I guarantee you, I have seen it happen.

Investing in your style has a domino effect. You’re going to be taken more serious, you’re going to make more money, your confidence is going to grow, more opportunities are going to open up. So yes, invest in all of those other aspect but please don’t forget to invest in your image so you can look your best.

I’m so passionate about this topic because a lot of people think what I do as a personal stylist isn’t important. They feel like caring about your image is vein and shallow. If anything, a personal stylist is a business woman’s secret weapon. I’m here to help you create an image that is authentic to you and help you look stylish and polished at all times.
